The Point System Management of Beijing Aikang Group Implemented

The Group has been troubled by the appraisal system for a long time. Aikang selects the talents based on the principle of “horse race”. However, how to hold “horse race” and what is the basis for evaluating staff as “fighters” of Aikang? Aikang has promulgated the Basic Law several years ago. However, how to truly integrate it with the words and deeds of employees? The point system expected by more than 3,000 members of Aikang was officially implemented.

 

With our expectation, the long-awaited point system management was finally determined. At 10:00 a.m. on September 19, 2020, Point System Kick-off Meeting of Beijing Aikang Group was officially begun with reading Aikang missions and values loudly and orderly.

 

 

At the launching ceremony, Dr. Wang Dong, the Chairman of Beijing Aikang Group, said with emotion that “praise a person for his/her merits in public, while criticize him or her for his/her faults in private”. This sentence is a famous saying from Zeng Guofan. Wang Dong expressed that he has been looking for a scientific evaluation mechanism for many years. Previously, he went to Taiwan for inspection and then learned that Chang Gung Hospital had implemented the point system management effectively. Therefore, he intends to implement it in Aikang. 

 

Wang Dong said expectantly, “the best wish in my life is to help more patients externally and facilitate Aikang members to improve the life quality internally. I hope that the implementation of the point system will promote all members in Aikang to work and live happily, and continue enhance their happiness.”

 

 

Li Wuer, the Chief Operating Officer of the Group, acted as the leader of the special task preparation team for the point system and participated in the whole process including the inspection and study of point system management, the subsequent seminars and meetings, and official launch of the point system management. Therefore, he is filled with emotion. According to Li, official launch of the point system management is a great event for Aikang as it can solve our difficult problems in evaluation and assessment, implement Aikang culture, and make our management more digital and systematic.

The success of Point System Kick-off Meeting of Beijing Aikang Group is a small step for Aikang in implementing the point system management and it is also a big step for the Group in intelligent and digital management.

 

The point system management will be officially implemented in the Group from October 1st. In the future, the points will be linked to the annual evaluation. Every month, the kings in points, task and progress for individual event and the winners in quality safety points and patient-first points set by the hospitals will receive the rewards. The points can also be converted to various benefits (such as paid vacations, outing training, and travel). Later, a points mall will be opened, where physical prizes can be exchanged. In addition, the points will also be widely used in various aspects such as job evaluation, rank adjustment, and equity incentives!
